North Dakota High School Basketball - Carrington can't hold off Rugby

The Rugby Panthers basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Carrington Cardinals to 60 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Town for a A Region 3 contest on Tuesday, February 13. Rugby will battle a Eagles team coming off a 75-50 league loss to Stanley (Stanley, ND). The Eagles record now stands at 5-10.
The Cardinals (1-19) will now prepare for their contest against Four Winds/Minnewaukan (Fort Totten, ND). The Indians enter the A Region 2 contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Four Winds/Minnewaukan was nudged by Devils Lake (Devils Lake, ND), 70-69, in a league contest.
