Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Clinton Prairie Gophers (Frankfort, IN) and the host Covington Trojans (Covington, IN), saw Clinton Prairie's basketball squad knock off Covington by a tally of 46-36.

With the victory, Clinton Prairie improves its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Gophers travel to Tri-Central (Sharpsville, IN) to play the Trojans in a Hoosier Heartland challenge on Friday, February 16. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 11-8. Tri-Central lost 60-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Faith Christian (Lafayette, IN)

Next up, the Trojans play the South Vermillion Wildcats (Clinton, IN) in a Wabash River challenge, on Saturday, February 17. Covington will attempt to improve on its 10-11 season record.
