Plattsburgh Hornets (Plattsburgh, NY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Crown Point Panthers (Crown Point, NY), 84-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Plattsburgh upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Hornets travel to Saranac (Saranac, NY) to clash with the Spartans in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 8-8. Saranac won 58-44 in their recent non-league bout against Schroon Lake (Schroon Lake, NY)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Boquet Valley Griffins (Elizabethtown, NY) in a Section 7 Mountain Valley bout, on Monday, February 12. Crown Point will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Griffins go into the bout with a 15-2 record after their 67-23 league win over Lake Placid (Lake Placid, NY).
