The Princeville Princes basketball team (Princeville, IL), dropped 66-55 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL)

The Knights now possess a 27-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lexington for a Heart of Illinois battle on Monday, February 12. Fieldcrest will battle a Minutemen team coming off a 61-46 league win over Ridgeview (Colfax, IL). The Minutemen record now stands at 20-8.

The Princes (23-5) will now prepare for their battle against Wethersfield (Kewanee, IL). The Flying Geese come into the Lincoln Trail battle with a 11-15 record. In their last battle, Wethersfield dropped by Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] (Woodhull, IL), 66-34, in a league battle.
