Ohio High School Basketball - Firelands topped by Steele

The Steele Comets basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Firelands Falcons to 35 in the Comets non-league victory on Saturday.
The Comets now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vermilion for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13. Steele will battle a Sailors team coming off a 54-52 league win over Port Clinton (Port Clinton, OH). The Sailors record now stands at 5-14.
The Falcons (12-8) will now prepare for their contest against Keystone (La Grange, OH). The Wildcats come into the Lorain County 8 contest with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, Keystone prevailed over Chippewa (Doylestown, OH), 67-60, in a non-league contest.
