The Gardendale Rockets (Gardendale, AL) basketball knocked off the visiting Fort Payne Wildcats (Fort Payne, AL), 83-70 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Rockets (19-7) will now prepare for their test against Mountain Brook (Birmingham, AL). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 24-7 record. In their last test, Mountain Brook notched a victory over Parker (Birmingham, AL), 59-49, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 25-4 record.
