The Fulton Steamers basketball team (Fulton, IL), was toppled 57-44 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Riverton Hawks (Riverton, IL)
The Hawks now possess a 22-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maroa-Forsyth for a Sangamo battle on Tuesday, February 13. Riverton will confront a Trojans team coming off a 56-55 non-league win over Argenta-Oreana (Argenta, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 17-10.
The Steamers (18-11) will now prepare for their battle against Polo (Polo, IL). The Marcos come into the Northwest Upstate Illini - South battle with a 14-11 record. In their last battle, Polo was toppled by Fulton (Fulton, IL), 77-43, in a league battle.
