The Gibault Catholic Hawks (Waterloo, IL) basketball nipped the host Waterloo Bulldogs (Waterloo, IL), 48-41 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Hawks (17-12) will now prepare for their test against Highland (Highland, IL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 17-12 record. In their last test, Highland got by Civic Memorial (Bethalto, IL), 65-42, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 15-15 record. They play next when they travel to Highland for a Mississippi Valley test on Thursday, February 15.
