The Naylor Eagles basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Gideon Bulldogs to 52 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 5-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Puxico for a non-league contest on Monday, February 12. Naylor will battle a Indians team coming off a 65-43 non-league loss to Scott City (Scott City, MO). The Indians record now stands at 18-3.
The Bulldogs (5-15) will now prepare for their contest against Senath-Hornersville (Senath, MO). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Senath-Hornersville nudged Kennett (Kennett, MO), 60-49, in a non-league contest.
