Highlands Latin Highlanders (Louisville, KY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Marion County Knights (Lebanon, KY), 76-73 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Highlands Latin upgrades its record to 13-9 on the season. The Highlanders host Iroquois (Louisville, KY) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league bout on Monday, February 12. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 5-15. Iroquois won 52-49 in their recent non-league bout against Valley (Louisville, KY)

Next up, the Knights clash with the Garrard County Golden Lions (Lancaster, KY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Marion County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-19 season record. The Golden Lions go into the bout with a 5-19 record after their 62-25 league loss to Boyle County (Danville, KY).
