The Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs basketball team (Mahomet, IL), was overwhelmed 70-32 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL)

The Kays now possess a 23-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thornwood for a Southland battle on Monday, February 12. Kankakee will confront a Thunderbirds team coming off a 71-47 league loss to Thornton (Harvey, IL). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 11-16.

The Bulldogs (11-15) will now prepare for their battle against Normal University (Normal, IL). The Pioneers come into the non-league battle with a 19-10 record. In their last battle, Normal University was overwhelmed by Teutopolis (Teutopolis, IL), 48-43, in a non-league battle.
