New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Ledyard Colonels (Ledyard, CT), 96-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, New Canaan upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Rams travel to Bridgeport Central (Bridgeport, CT) to clash with the Hilltoppers in a Fairfield County bout on Monday, February 12. The Hilltoppers go into the bout with a record of 2-13. Bridgeport Central lost 51-43 in their recent league bout against McMahon (Norwalk, CT)

Next up, the Colonels clash with the Putnam Clippers (Putnam, CT) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Ledyard will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Clippers go into the bout with a 5-11 record after their 70-53 league loss to Tourtellotte (North Grosvenordale, CT).
