The Lincoln Abes tipped the visiting Thornton Wildcats basketball team by a final score of 61-59 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Abes face the Varsity Opponent (, ) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 13. Lincoln will attempt to move on its 16-3 season record. The enter the game with a 412-1493 record after their 67-64 non-league loss to Tri-Cities Christian (Blountville, TN).
