West Fargo Packers (West Fargo, ND) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Moorhead Spuds (Moorhead, MN), 100-94 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, West Fargo upgrades its record to 6-13 on the campaign. The Packers travel to Red River (Grand Forks, ND) to play the Roughriders in a AA East bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Roughriders come into the bout with a record of 5-14. Red River lost 84-68 in their recent league bout against Sheyenne (West Fargo, ND)

Next up, the Spuds play the Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres (Sartell, MN) in a AAAA Section 8 bout, on Thursday, February 15. Moorhead will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record.
