New Jersey High School Basketball - Sparta knocked off by Morris Knolls

The Morris Knolls Golden Eagles basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Sparta Spartans to 46 in the Golden Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain Lakes for a non-league contest on Monday, February 12. Morris Knolls will battle a Lakers team coming off a 67-57 non-league loss to Pequannock (Pompton Plains, NJ). The Lakers record now stands at 10-10.
The Spartans (9-13) will now prepare for their contest against Ridge (Basking Ridge, NJ). The Red Devil enter the non-league contest with a 14-8 record. In their last contest, Ridge was defeated by Franklin (Somerset, NJ), 64-61, in a non-league contest.
