North Dakota High School Basketball - Nedrose knocked off by Velva

The Velva Aggies basketball team scored 73 points and held the host Nedrose Cardinals to 62 in the Aggies non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Aggies now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Drake/Anamoose for a B District 8 contest on Monday, February 12. Velva will battle a Raiders team coming off a 52-26 league loss to Our Redeemer's Christian (Minot, ND). The Raiders record now stands at 3-14.

The Cardinals (3-14) will now prepare for their contest against Des Lacs-Burlington (Des Lacs, ND). The Lakers enter the A Region 3 contest with a 15-3 record. In their last contest, Des Lacs-Burlington ran past Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood (Renville, ND), 65-47, in a non-league contest.
