Pembroke Dragons (Corfu, NY) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Wheatland-Chili Wildcats (Scottsville, NY), 59-55 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pembroke upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (Batavia, NY) in a Section 5 Genesee 2 bout, on Wednesday, February 14. Wheatland-Chili will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record.
