The Winston Red Birds basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Stanberry Bulldogs to 46 in the Red Birds non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Red Birds now sport a 10-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gilman City for a non-league contest on Monday, February 12. Winston will battle a Hawks team coming off a 57-53 non-league win over Winston (Winston, MO). The Hawks record now stands at 7-10.
The Bulldogs (6-17) will now prepare for their contest against Pattonsburg (Pattonsburg, MO). The Panthers enter the Grand River West contest with a 12-10 record. In their last contest, Pattonsburg was defeated by West Nodaway (Burlington Junction, MO), 71-67, in a non-league contest.
