The Washington Catholic Cardinals basketball team (Washington, IN), was overwhelmed 79-29 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting White River Valley Wolverines (Switz City, IN)
The Wolverines now possess a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Daviess for a Southwestern Indiana battle on Friday, February 16.
The Cardinals (1-17) will now prepare for their battle against Loogootee (Loogootee, IN). The Lions come into the Blue Chip battle with a 11-7 record. In their last battle, Loogootee trounced Mitchell (Mitchell, IN), 58-49, in a non-league battle.
