Roosevelt Mustangs (Eastvale, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA), 8-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Murrieta Valley for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 10.

With the loss, Saugus falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Centurions travel to West Ranch (Valencia, CA) to battle the Wildcats in a challenge on Friday, March 8. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
