Ohio High School Basketball - Marlington thwarted by Chippewa

The Marlington Dukes basketball team (Alliance, OH), dropped 42-32 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Chippewa Chipps (Doylestown, OH)

The Chipps now possess a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waynedale for a Wayne County battle on Thursday, February 15. Chippewa will battle a Golden Bears team coming off a 68-54 non-league loss to Hiland (Berlin, OH). The Golden Bears record now stands at 16-5.

The Dukes (8-13) will now prepare for their battle against Canton Central Catholic (Canton, OH). The Crusaders come into the non-league battle with a 7-13 record.
