The Edison Eagles basketball team (Edison, NJ), was overwhelmed 52-24 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Johnson Crusaders (Clark, NJ)
The Crusaders now possess a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union Catholic for a Union County - Watchung battle on Tuesday, February 13. Johnson will confront a Vikings team coming off a 46-33 non-league loss to Oak Knoll (Summit, NJ). The Vikings record now stands at 7-13.
The Eagles (9-16) will now prepare for their battle against South Brunswick (Monmouth Junction, NJ). The Vikings come into the Greater Middlesex - Red battle with a 12-11 record. In their last battle, South Brunswick was overwhelmed by Middlesex (Middlesex, NJ), 66-59, in a non-league battle.
