The Gibraltar Vikings (Fish Creek, WI) basketball nipped the host Elcho Hornets (Elcho, WI), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Vikings (9-13) will now prepare for their test against Algoma (Algoma, WI). The Wolves go into the Packerland test with a 12-10 record. In their last test, Algoma got by Sturgeon Bay (Sturgeon Bay, WI), 42-21, in a league test.
The Hornets now own a 1-14 record. They play next when they travel to Crandon for a Northern Lakes test on Monday, February 12. Elcho will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 56-54 non-league win over Lena (Lena, WI). The Cardinals record now stands at 16-5.
