Solon Spartans (Solon, IA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Fairfield Trojans (Fairfield, IA), 78-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Solon upgrades its record to 19-3 on the season. The Spartans travel to Davis County (Bloomfield, IA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 14. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 9-12. Davis County won 65-44 in their recent non-league bout against Van Buren County (Keosauqua, IA)
