The Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs tipped the visiting Grinnell Tigers basketball team by a final score of 48-43 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Monticello Panthers (Monticello, IA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, February 14. Prairie City-Monroe will attempt to move on its 15-6 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 19-3 record after their 49-27 non-league win over Vinton-Shellsburg (Vinton, IA).
With the defeat, Grinnell moves to 6-14 on the year.
