The Highmore/Harrold Pirates (Highmore, SD) basketball knocked off the host Langford Lions (Langford, SD), 42-28 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Pirates (9-9) will now prepare for their test against Ipswich (Ipswich, SD). The Tigers go into the B Region 6 test with a 4-14 record. In their last test, Ipswich notched a victory over Waverly/South Shore (Waverly, SD), 43-29, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 6-13 record. They play next when they host Aberdeen Christian for a B Region 1 test on Tuesday, February 13. Langford will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 41-32 league loss to Hitchcock-Tulare (Tulare, SD). The Knights record now stands at 2-16.
