Pittsfield-Griggsville-Perry Saukees (Pittsfield, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Illini West Chargers (Carthage, IL), 49-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pittsfield-Griggsville-Perry upgrades its record to 13-12 on the season. The Saukees travel to Central/Southeastern (Camp Point, IL) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, February 12. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 25-2. Central/Southeastern won 73-36 in their recent league bout against Mendon Unity (Mendon, IL)
