In Saturday's non-league outing, the Tri-Valley Mustangs (Colton, SD) basketball squad beat the visiting Milbank Bulldogs (Milbank, SD), by a count of 65-54.

The Mustangs (8-10) will now prepare for their outing against McCook Central/Montrose (Salem, SD). The Fighting Cougars go into the A Region 3 outing with a 5-14 record. In their last outing, McCook Central/Montrose was topped by Viborg/Hurley (Viborg, SD), 47-46, in a non-league outing.

The Bulldogs now hold a 8-10 record. They play next when they travel to Madison for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 13. Milbank will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 68-48 non-league loss to Canton (Canton, SD). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-14.
