Sioux Valley Cossacks (Volga, SD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Parker Pheasants (Parker, SD), 83-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sioux Valley upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Cossacks travel to Castlewood (Castlewood, SD) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 7-11. Castlewood lost 67-56 in their recent league bout against Deubrook (White, SD)

Next up, the Pheasants play the Canton C-Hawks (Canton, SD) in a A Region 4 bout, on Monday, February 12. Parker will attempt to upgrade on its 2-16 season record. The C-Hawks go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 68-48 non-league win over Madison (Madison, SD).
