In Saturday's non-league outing, the Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers (Gettysburg, SD) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Pine Ridge Thorpes (Pine Ridge, SD), by a margin of 61-10.

The Battlers (8-9) will now prepare for their outing against Herreid/Selby (Herreid, SD). The Wolverines go into the B Region 6 outing with a 12-6 record. In their last outing, Herreid/Selby smashed Waubay/Summit (Waubay, SD), 44-36, in a non-league outing.

The Thorpes now own a 3-13 record. They play next when they host Cheyenne-Eagle Butte for a non-league outing on Monday, February 12.
