The Woodside Wolverines basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Thomas Jefferson Vikings to 20 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Saturday.

The Wolverines now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Indian River for a non-league contest on Monday, February 12. Woodside will battle a Braves team coming off a 25-4 league win over Lakeland (Suffolk, VA). The Braves record now stands at 11-10.

The Vikings (2-18) will now prepare for their contest against Freeman (Richmond, VA). The Mavericks come into the Colonial contest with a 12-9 record. In their last contest, Freeman was routed by Godwin (Richmond, VA), 42-37, in a league contest.
