Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Downey Vikings (Downey, CA), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Aztecs confront the La Habra Highlanders (La Habra, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 14. Esperanza will attempt to better on its 19-4 season record. The Highlanders enter the challenge with a 16-3 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Buena (Ventura, CA).
The Vikings now have a 15-5 record.
