The Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks basketball team (Charlottesville, VA), was overwhelmed 71-40 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Hargrave Military Academy Tigers (Chatham, VA)

The Tigers now possess a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Virginia Episcopal School for a battle on Tuesday, February 13. Hargrave Military Academy will confront a Bishops team coming off a 67-60 non-league loss to St. Christopher's (Richmond, VA). The Bishops record now stands at 5-5.

The Mavericks (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Fishburne Military (Waynesboro, VA). The Caissons come into the battle with a 0-7 record. In their last battle, Fishburne Military was overwhelmed by Carlisle (Axton, VA), 40-36, in a league battle.
