The Ludington Orioles basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Petoskey Northmen to 48 in the Orioles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Orioles now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Montague for a contest on Tuesday, February 13. Ludington will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 52-31 non-league loss to Whitehall (Whitehall, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-5.

The Northmen (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Benzie Central (Benzonia, MI). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
