North Smithfield Northmen (North Smithfield, RI) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Scituate Spartans (North Scituate, RI), 64-43 in a non-league bout.
With the win, North Smithfield upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season.
Next up, the Spartans play the Smithfield Sentinels (Esmond, RI) in a non-league bout, on Sunday, February 11. Scituate will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Sentinels go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 48-39 non-league win over Barrington (Barrington, RI).
