The Mountain Brook Spartans lacrosse team scored 7 points and held the host Lovett Lions to 6 in the Spartans non-league win on Saturday.
The Spartans (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Hoover (Hoover, AL). The Buccaneers go into the AL East game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Hoover nudged Huntsville (Huntsville, AL), 19-2, in a league game.
The Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their game against South Forsyth (Cumming, GA). The War Eagles go into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, South Forsyth was nipped by Walton (Marietta, GA), 19-6, in a non-league contest.
