In Monday's non-league game, the host Parkway Panthers baseball team scored a nice 11-0 win over the Cedar Creek Cougars.
The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA). The Chiefs go into the 5A District 1 game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Natchitoches Central knocked off Weston (Jonesboro, LA), 12-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Cougars play the Calvary Baptist Academy Cavaliers (Shreveport, LA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 13. Cedar Creek will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Cavaliers go into the game with a 1-1 record after their 11-0 non-league win over Quitman (Quitman, LA).
