The Iowa Yellowjackets (Iowa, LA) baseball trounced the host Pineville Rebels (Pineville, LA), 9-2 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Yellowjackets now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sam Houston for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 13. Iowa will clash with a Broncos team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Notre Dame (Crowley, LA). The Broncos record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Pineville drops to 1-1 on the year. The Rebels travel to Lafayette (Lafayette, LA) to clash with the Lions in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 14. The Lions go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
