In Monday's non-league contest, the host Amherst Falcons basketball team scored a big 66-43 triumph over the Wild Rose Wildcats.
The Falcons (6-14) will now prepare for their contest against Weyauwega-Fremont (Weyauwega, WI). The Warhawks go into the Central Wisconsin - East contest with a 6-13 record. In their last contest, Weyauwega-Fremont was trounced by Brillion (Brillion, WI), 70-39, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Almond-Bancroft Eagles (Almond, WI) in a Central Wisconsin - South contest, on Thursday, February 13. Wild Rose will attempt to better on its 4-14 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 14-5 record after their 54-40 non-league win over Manawa (Manawa, WI).
