The Bulkeley Bulldogs (Hartford, CT) basketball edged the host Capital Prep Trailblazers (Hartford, CT), 55-53 in Monday's league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Windham RVT for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 18. Bulkeley will play a Mighty Tigers team coming off a 85-66 non-league win over Vinal RVT (Middletown, CT). The Mighty Tigers record now stands at 16-3.
With the loss, Capital Prep falls to 3-14 on the campaign. The Trailblazers travel to University (Hartford, CT) to play the Hawks in a Capitol Region outing on Wednesday, February 12. The Hawks enter the outing with a record of 0-10.
