In Monday's league test, the Central Knights (Providence, RI) basketball squad trounced the host Johnston Panthers (Johnston, RI), by a score of 85-59.
Next, the Knights encounter the Westerly Bulldogs (Westerly, RI) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, February 12. Central will attempt to improve on its 12-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 9-11 record after their 83-67 league loss to Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI).
The Panthers (0-19) will now prepare for their test against East Providence (East Providence, RI). The Townies come into the Division I test with a 8-10 record. In their last test, East Providence was routed by Barrington (Barrington, RI), 66-54, in a league test.
