The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the E.D. White Cardinals (Thibodaux, LA) and the visiting Covenant Christian Academy Lions (Houma, LA), observed E.D. White's basketball team overcome Covenant Christian Academy by a score of 50-31.

The Cardinals (18-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Lutcher (Lutcher, LA). The Bulldogs come into the 4A District 8 challenge with a 15-20 record. In their last challenge, Lutcher defeated E.D. White (Thibodaux, LA), 56-50, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Hanson Memorial Tigers (Franklin, LA) in a 1A District 7 challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Covenant Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 12-15 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 9-17 record after their 72-32 league loss to Central Catholic (Morgan City, LA).
