Connecticut High School Basketball - Staples victorious over Danbury

In Monday's league contest, the visiting Staples Wreckers basketball team scored a good 42-34 triumph over the Danbury Hatters.

The Wreckers (14-3) will now prepare for their contest against St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT). The Cadets go into the Fairfield County contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, St. Joseph was topped by New Canaan (New Canaan, CT), 58-49, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Hatters battle the Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers (Bridgeport, CT) in a Fairfield County contest, on Saturday, February 15. Danbury will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record.
