The Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Eden Valley-Watkins Eagles to 46 in the Fighting Saints league triumph on Monday.
The Fighting Saints now possess a 9-12 record. They play next when they travel to Central Minnesota Christian for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg will confront a Bluejays team coming off a 82-45 non-league win over Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City (Grove City, MN). The Bluejays record now stands at 20-4.
With the loss, Eden Valley-Watkins falls to 5-16 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Montevideo (Montevideo, MN) to confront the Thunderhawks in a AA Section 3 game on Tuesday, February 11. The Thunderhawks go into the game with a record of 17-2.
