The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Miller City Wildcats (Miller City, OH) and the visiting Elmwood Royals (Bloomdale, OH), observed Miller City's basketball team overwhelm Elmwood by a score of 65-17.

The Wildcats (16-5) will now prepare for their battle against Columbus Grove (Columbus Grove, OH). The Bulldogs enter the Putnam County battle with a 10-7 record. In their last battle, Columbus Grove walloped Perry (Lima, OH), 72-45, in a non-league battle.

The Royals now own a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Liberty-Benton for a Blanchard Valley battle on Tuesday, February 11. Elmwood will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 54-22 league win over Riverdale (Mt. Blanchard, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 18-1.
