The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Gladwin Flying G's (Gladwin, MI) and the visiting Valley Lutheran Chargers (Saginaw, MI), observed Gladwin's basketball team overwhelm Valley Lutheran by a margin of 61-34.
The Flying G's (15-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Clare (Clare, MI). The Pioneers come into the Jack Pine challenge with a 9-9 record. In their last challenge, Clare trounced Bullock Creek (Midland, MI), 54-44, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Chargers battle the Ithaca Yellowjackets (Ithaca, MI) in a Tri-Valley - Blue challenge, on Friday, February 14. Valley Lutheran will attempt to better on its 8-11 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 14-4 record after their 50-29 league win over Hemlock (Hemlock, MI).
