In Monday's non-league contest, the host Grundy Center Spartans basketball team scored a big 81-56 win over the Wapsie Valley Warriors.

The Spartans (19-0) will now prepare for their contest against Grand View Christian (Des Moines, IA). The Thunder come into the non-league contest with a 18-1 record. In their last contest, Grand View Christian smashed Perry (Perry, IA), 87-51, in a league contest.
