Massachusetts High School Basketball - Taconic nips Monument Mountain

In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Taconic Thunder basketball team scored a close 62-57 triumph over the Monument Mountain Spartans.
The Thunder (15-3) will now prepare for their contest against Commerce (Springfield, MA). The Red Raiders go into the non-league contest with a 2-8 record.
In their next game, the Spartans battle the Belchertown Orioles (Belchertown, MA) in a Bi-County - East contest, on Monday, February 17. Monument Mountain will attempt to better on its 15-2 season record.
