In Monday's non-league test, the Pitkin Tigers (Pitkin, LA) basketball squad trounced the visiting St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays (Eunice, LA), by a score of 85-38.
Next, the Tigers clash with the Hicks Pirates (Leesville, LA) in a B District 4 test, on Tuesday, February 11. Pitkin will attempt to improve on its 24-9 season record. The Pirates come into the test with a 34-8 record after their 53-41 league win over Anacoco (Anacoco, LA).
The Fighting Blue Jays (13-16) will now prepare for their test against Westminster Christian Academy (Opelousas, LA). The Crusaders come into the 1A District 5 test with a 10-10 record.
