In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Lawrence Tigers basketball team scored a big 60-14 victory over the Eau Claire Beavers.
With the victory, Lawrence advances its record to 10-4 on the year. The Tigers host Centreville (Centreville, MI) to meet the Bulldogs in a Southwest 10 battle on Tuesday, February 11. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 10-3. Centreville won 44-24 in their recent league battle against Bangor (Bangor, MI)
The Beavers now own a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Covert for a non-league battle on Friday, February 14. Eau Claire will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 37-10 non-league loss to Michigan Lutheran (St. Joseph, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-5.
